Richard is currently a Visiting Faculty member of the College of Communication & Information, School of Library and Information Studies at Florida State University. Prior to arriving at FSU, he was a doctoral student at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He served as a graduate research assistant for the IMLS Digital Collections and Content project (http://imlsdcc.grainger.uiuc.edu) and as project assistant for Metadata for You & Me: A Training Program for Shareable Metadata (http://www.library.uiuc.edu/projects/mym). Richard served as the Operations Coordinator for the Collaborative Digitization Program (aka Colorado Digitization Project - http://www.bcr.org/cdp/) assisting libraries, archives, museums and other cultural heritage organizations provide online access to their collections.
